Mr. Russell started his law enforcement career in 1980 when he joined the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.  During this time he was charged with numerous specialized duties to include advanced training, drug use recognition, search and rescue training and coordination, advanced officer survival and field tactics.  Mr. Russell was instrumental in forming the K-9 Division of the Sheriff’s Department and was assigned as a K-9 Handler in 1985.  During his tenure,  Mr. Russell received numerous awards and accommodations for outstanding service.  Mr. Russell was honorably retired and continued his chosen profession with the City of Commerce. 


In 1991, K-9 Security was formed.  This company started in La Puente, California and quickly grew to serve clients throughout Southern California.  In 1997 a second office was opened in Upland, California where the services offered expanded due to client’s needs.  These services included private investigations, staffing of positions ranging from clerical to courtesy clerks and executive protection.  Due to the changing needs of our clients, in 2003 the company name was changed to Russell Security and Staffing, Inc.
Mr. Russell remains the owner and operator of Russell Security and Staffing, Inc., where he is involved in the direct management of each contract.  He has been in the private security industry for 18 years and continues to deliver quality security and protection services.
